📄 Payment problems: what to do

Payment problems: what to do

If a payment does not go through on our site, no money is taken. Below are the causes and fixes, in order.

The PayPal window does not open after you click Pay

PayPal opens the payment in a separate window. If it did not appear, something blocked it. Check the following in order.

1. Pop-up blocker

Look at the right-hand end of the address bar — an icon with a crossed-out window appears, saying "Pop-up blocked". Click it, choose "Always allow pop-ups from this site", then try again.

This permission is set separately for each of our sites: entbox.uk, pro-webdesign.co.uk, pro-technologies.co.uk, vinylrestore.co.uk, dronestudio.uk, lux-photo.co.uk.

If the pop-up was already blocked, PayPal shows a fallback screen saying "Don't see the secure paypal browser?" with a Click to Continue link — click it.

2. Browser extensions

Ad blockers and privacy extensions are a common cause. Disable them for our site, or open the site in a fresh browser profile (in Chrome: Profiles menu → Open Guest Profile) and try paying there. If it works in a clean profile, an extension is to blame.

3. Cookie settings

Less common, but it happens: strict privacy settings can stop the PayPal window from signing you in. How to allow cookies in each browser is below.

Google Chrome

  1. Open the payment page on our site.
  2. Click the padlock icon on the left of the address bar.
  3. Choose "Cookies and site data", then "Site settings".
  4. Set "Third-party cookies" to "Allow".
  5. Reload the page and pay again.

Safari

  1. Safari menu → Settings → Privacy tab.
  2. Untick "Prevent cross-site tracking".
  3. Reload the page and pay again.

Firefox

  1. Click the shield icon on the left of the address bar.
  2. Turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection for our site.
  3. Reload the page and pay again.

If that did not help

  • Open the site in a private/incognito window — this disables browser extensions.
  • Temporarily turn off your ad blocker and VPN.
  • Try a different device — for example, your phone instead of your computer.

Paying by bank transfer

The amount to pay is the order total in pounds sterling (GBP). If you pay from an account in another currency, your bank will convert it and may take a fee — which means less than the full amount reaches us. To avoid a shortfall, send a little extra or choose the option where the sender pays all charges. We credit your balance with exactly the amount that arrives in our account.

From a UK bank account:

  • Beneficiary: Pro Technologies Limited
  • Account Number: 52525720
  • Sort Code: 40-02-44
  • Bank: HSBC UK

International transfer (from outside the UK):

  • Beneficiary: Pro Technologies Limited
  • IBAN: GB20 HBUK 4002 4452 5257 20
  • SWIFT/BIC: HBUKGB4140F
  • Bank: HSBC UK

Please always quote your order number as the payment reference.

Paying from Europe with Revolut

If you are in the EU (Latvia, Lithuania and other countries) and do not use PayPal, the free Revolut app is a convenient option — your payment reaches us as a domestic UK transfer, with no international transfer fees:

  1. Install the Revolut app and top it up from any bank card.
  2. Make a transfer in pounds (GBP) using the UK bank details above: payee Pro Technologies Limited, IBAN: GB20 HBUK 4002 4452 5257 20, SWIFT/BIC: HBUKGB4140F.
  3. Revolut converts euros to pounds automatically at its own rate.
  4. In the payment reference, include your order or subscription number (for example: S06123) — this speeds up crediting.

Transfers normally arrive within one working day. Tried and tested: a transfer from Latvia arrived the next day and was credited without delay.

Topping up your wallet

The easiest approach is to keep a balance on your wallet — renewals are then taken automatically and you do not need to pay every month. You can top up here:

https://www.entbox.uk/shop/balance-top-up

Choose an amount, tick the terms box, add to basket and pay. Funds are credited automatically right after payment — nothing to type in manually.

Frequently asked

I clicked Pay several times — was I charged several times?
No. If the payment did not go through, nothing was taken. Check your statement — you will not see a single charge in our favour.

PayPal says my payment is pending.
PayPal sometimes reviews incoming payments; this takes from a few hours to a few days. The money is not lost and you do not need to pay again — we will credit it as soon as it arrives.

My subscription will expire while we sort the payment out.
Don't worry: as long as you are in touch with us, we will keep your subscription active until the funds arrive.

Nothing helped

Write to us via the chat on our site or at info@entbox.uk. Please tell us which browser and device you use, and whether the PayPal window opens at all. That helps us resolve it faster.

Paying by link

There is another way to pay — a separate payment page: https://www.entbox.uk/payment-link. It is useful if the usual payment button does not open for you, or is unavailable in your country.

Three things matter for the payment to reach us:

  1. Place an order on the site and pay the exact order amount. If the sum differs even by a penny, we will not be able to credit it.
  2. Always enter the order number in the field provided. Without it we cannot match the payment to your account.
  3. These payments are processed manually, so crediting is not instant — but it is guaranteed by the end of the same day.
